mikeroweWORKS Foundation Work Ethic Scholarship Program
For the fourth consecutive year, the mikeroweWORKS Foundation launches the Work Ethic Scholarship Program, offering a free pile of money to people getting trained for skilled jobs that are in demand. Anyone with a pulse and a desire to learn a trade is invited to apply. The Foundation has collaborated with This Old House to create the Generation Next campaign to help close the skills gap by encouraging young people to master the vocational trades that built this country, including carpentry, construction, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.

Applicants to the mikeroweWORKS Foundation Work Ethic Scholarship Program must be:
- High school seniors, high school graduates, or GED equivalent who are enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited two-year college, vocational, technical school or other approved technical institute in the United States.
- Enrolled or planning to enroll in an approved vocational or similar trade-related program. See list of approved programs.
- Planning to complete a trade-related program after December 1, 2017.
