National Space Club Scholarship
Since 2013, The National Space Club and Foundation has offered the opportunity for a student to give the keynote address at the National Space Club and Foundation's annual Goddard Memorial Dinner, one of the space industry's most prestigious gatherings. The student must intend to pursue a career in the Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) fields, be academically strong and excel in public speaking.
In addition to speaking at the Goddard Memorial Dinner, the individual selected will also receive a scholarship, in the amount of $10,000. This scholarship is awarded to a U.S. citizen, and is open to seniors in High School through graduate students studying at an accredited educational institution in the United States, who has definite plans to pursue a career in the STEM fields.

The Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarships recognize and reward students who have made a significant impact in the fight against hunger. The scholarship recipients each receive $5,000 for their education as well as a matching grant in their name for the hunger-related charity of their choice. The Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarship is named for the Sodexo Foundation's founder and former president, who was an unstoppable champion in the fight to end hunger. The Foot Locker Scholar Athletes program honors student athletes who demonstrate excellence in school, on their sports teams, and in their communities. The scholarship is open to students entering college in the Fall of 2016 as a freshman at a four-year school for an undergraduate degree. The James W. CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY
- The applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
- The scholarship is open to seniors in high school through graduate students.
- The applicant must have the intention of pursuing a career in the STEM fields and plan to attend an accredited U.S. college or university to follow a course of study to pursue a career in the STEM field, with a preference for those with space related interests.
- The applicant can only use the $10,000.00 scholarship towards tuition for the 2017-2018 academic year.
- The applicant must not have previously spoken at the Dr. Robert H. Goddard Memorial Dinner.
- The applicant may apply for any of the scholarships offered by the National Space Club and Foundation (Robert H. Goddard Memorial Scholarship, Olin E Teague Scholarship, Keynote Scholarship) in the same year, but may only win one in the same year.

Scholarship Eligibility:
- 1. Applications for Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarships are accepted from October 5 through December 5, 2016.
- 2. Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarships are open to students ages 5-25 (Kindergarten through graduate school) enrolled in an accredited educational institution in the United States. Applicants must meet the age requirement by October 5, 2016.
- 3. Applicants must have demonstrated on-going commitment to their community by performing unpaid volunteer services impacting hunger in the United States at least within the last 12 months. Added consideration is given to students working to fight childhood hunger.
- 4. Volunteer services must be helping non-family members.
- 5. Multiple applications of the same student will not be accepted; if more than one application for an individual is received, the first application received will be the application accepted and reviewed.
- 6. Applicants must obtain a Community Service Recommendation as part of the application process.
- 7. Recommenders must be at least 21 years of age, may NOT be your parent, guardian or family member, and must submit their recommendation by December 11, 2016.
- 8. All applicants and recommenders must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
- 9. Employees of Sodexo are not eligible to apply for the Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarships; but they may refer family members who are not employees of Sodexo.
- 10. Previous national Stop Hunger Scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply.
- 11. Previous regional Stop Hunger Honorees are eligible to apply.
