John and Muriel Landis Scholarship
Administered by the ANS NEED Committee, a maximum of nine scholarships are awarded to undergraduate and graduate students who have greater than average financial need. Consideration is given to conditions or experiences that render the student disadvantaged (poor high school/undergraduate preparation, due to poverty, etc.) Applicants should be planning a career in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear-related field and be enrolled or planning to enroll in a college or university located in the United States, but need not be U.S. citizens. FFA Pink Tractor Scholarship
The student must submit the following items: an essay of 1,000 characters or less (including spaces) describing her career, educational, and personal goals that she would like to achieve in the next 10 years; and a statement of 1,000 characters or less (including spaces) explaining why the scholarship committee should choose him/her as the scholarship recipient. FFA Scholarship
For students who are furthering their agricultural education. Must have a 2.5 GPA.You do not need to be a member of FFA to be awarded this scholarship.

The Elks Legacy award offers three different scholarships for students whose parents or grandparents are an Elks member in good standing. High school seniors may apply here.

Illinois PTA Scholarship
The Illinois PTA,has released its 2013-2014 Scholarship Program. Qualified seniors from every public high school in Illinois are eligible. Students must have an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or above and must be planning on pursuing an education or education-related degree program requiring certification from a state board of education. P.L.A.Y. Scholarship
The contest is open to U.S. residents. No purchase necessary. All participants must be enrolled as full-time high school juniors or seniors. Entries are limited to one submission per person. To apply, student will submit an essay with 2-3 photos of their volunteer efforts to help animals in need and how that involvement has changed their lives or shaped their perceptions on the importance of animal welfare. Scholarships are awarded based upon need, scholastic standing and ability. Applications are reviewed thoroughly by the Odd Fellow And Rebekah Scholarship Committee. Students must be planning on attending a post-secondary school, accredited vocational, or technical training school and have at least a "C" average GPA.
